In recent weeks I've taken time to set up a completely new photo gallery, and have expanded the material therein by over 4 times. Cool

Another Facelift

Not sure it was worth the effort beyond the learning experience, but I expended some effort over the weekend to give the site yet another new look. We're still using the same content management software, but I finally figured out how to completely replace the HTML template with one of my own design. I'm no artist so it ain't all that great, but at least it's mine and not something that came unmodified out of the box (as was the previous look). I'm sure all 2 or 3 of our site's visitors will be suitably impressed. Wink

Note that the photo gallery now appears within the main page instead of sending you to a completely new page. Big whoop, I know, but it makes the gallery appear to be more a part of the main site and not the ugly stepchild that it actually is.

Perry Como is Still Alive

I don't know if you can say the same about this website, but I made some minor adjustments to it this evening just in case anyone is watching. Gone is the useless syndication section (what freak would want to subscribe to this website?) as well as who's online since it always just read "1 guest" which happens to be me. Undecided The latest uploads were moved to the left side to make room for a fabulous new poll on the right that will likely have zero votes for months. Finally, I added a new section on the left showing the most popular items based on hit count. I don't think "popular" is a good word, since it's probably more like the attention a train wreck gets, but I'm too tired to come up with something more clever.

Thanks to SCTV for the post title. Laughing

Okay, It Stays

Given the anonymous comment to my last post about trashing the website, I'll go ahead and keep it around. I honestly didn't know anyone ever visited, so it helps to know that an occasional visitor happens by here on purpose and not just by accident while searching for something else. Smile Not sure when I'll get around to converting more old tapes to MP3, but I'll post anything I manage to complete.

Trash the website?

So, is there any point in keeping this website alive? I set this up a long time ago thinking that others who are familiar with the history of B3 might find it interesting, but no one visits here as best I can tell. It sure as hell has no general appeal to the casual visitor. Anyway, the domain name expires next summer, and I'll probably trash the whole thing unless someone pops up in the meantime and indicates an interest in keeping it online. It ain't the money, it's just that I'm losing my interest in maintaining websites that no one gives a shit about.
